Step 1: The Bank Chargeback (Fastest Method)
If Lunar Astro refuses your refund or ignores your emails, do not argue with them. Go directly to your bank or credit card provider and file a "Chargeback" for Services Not Provided as Described.
Copy & Paste Email Template for Your Bank:
Subject: Dispute Charge / Chargeback Request - Fraudulent Service
Dear [Bank Name] Dispute Department,
I am writing to formally dispute a charge of [Amount] made on [Date] to "Lunar Astro Vedic Academy Pvt Ltd" (or Devguru Foundation).
I am requesting a chargeback under the reason code "Services Not Provided as Described" (Bait and Switch).
I paid for a premium consultation specifically with the founder, Deepanshu Giri, based on their marketing. However, at the time of service, I was offloaded to an anonymous, unqualified student proxy (Code 5007). When I requested a refund for this deceptive practice, the merchant refused and blocked my account.
Please initiate a chargeback for this transaction. I have attached my receipt and their refusal to refund.
Sincerely,
[Your Name]
[Your Account/Card Number]
Step 2: File a Consumer Court Complaint
If you are in India, you can file a grievance online from your home. The government takes "Deficiency in Service" and "Misleading Advertisements" very seriously.
- Visit the National Consumer Helpline (INGRAM) portal: consumerhelpline.gov.in
- Register an account and file a grievance against "Lunar Astro Vedic Academy Private Limited".
- Attach screenshots of your payment and their refusal to refund.
Step 3: Report Tax Evasion (DGGI)
If you suspect you were charged GST improperly, or if you want to report the ₹14.9 Crore tax anomaly and the MCA "Defaulting" status, you can submit an anonymous tip to the Directorate General of GST Intelligence (DGGI).
